John L Ball

John L. Ball is a Senior Systems Engineer for Microsoft Production Studios – Microsoft Corporation in Redmond WA.  He received a B.A. in music technology from the University of Washington and began his professional audio career with Bad Animals/Seattle Studios. In 1996 Mr. Ball was recruited by Microsoft to deliver audio to computer gaming platforms.  His passion for the technical engineering side of computers applied to audio has been a natural fit to work with digital audio and video over an IP transport.
